I've found them!
Now this will probably seem really silly to, oh just about everyone in the universe except for me...but I love pickles...if you know me, then you know it's true. I can't really explain it, but I can pretty much find a way to make pickles fit with any meal- my mom can too...and almost every day, for the entire 27 years and 18 days of my life...well I guess a little less then that...how old are babies when they can eat solid foods??...I have eaten a specific brand...Heinz Hamburger Dill Slices...and all was well until one day, they didn't have them in Shop Rite (side note: they don't seem to have them in Baltimore, so my mom would stock up and send them with me when I visited)...another week went by, and no pickles...I'd say as much as a month or two before the news was broken to me...my beloved pickles were not on the shelves of any grocery store in the area... WHAT??? so I thought, well we have a large enough stash in the basement to last a while...but as the jars started to disappear off the shelf, I got worried... that was, until today... when I found...
Buy the Case.net
a whole case of pickles...my pickles...that could be delivered right to my door... Disaster averted...you can go back to your normal routine...I will be fine :) :)
**thanks for listening to my ridiculous story :) my mom will appreciate it, so this was really for her ;)

27??
I'm not quite sure where the time has gone...I remember the first 21 years or so taking a lot longer then the last 6 have...full time jobs, busy schedules, more weddings then I can count and moving, selling, buying houses, adopting pets...lots of fun trips to local restaurants, drinking local drinks, finally learning how to crack and eat crabs...learning to ski (sort of), traveling to see friends in NJ, PA, NY, VT, VA, FL, TX...I can't really complain because it's been a good time...but again...where does the time go??
it's weird, because 27 was always an age I was scared of...first of all there's my irrational disliking of odd numbers, but also because it's the end of the 20's- finally having to be an adult...and while the whole growing up and being responsible thing isn't too bad...it's just the matter of realizing that you have to do what makes you happy and what really matters because time really does fly :p
anyway...enough rambling...and thanks to everyone who's already sent cards or birthday wishes :)

Blog Carnival - January 16th Edition
What are your new year's goals for your blog and/or shop?
This year is going to be a good year- I am determined to finally pursue my goals, which I started the path for at the end of last year, but this year...this is the year of Lauren...(haha, I always think of Seinfeld, and the "Summer of George" when I say that...)
That being said...the goal for my shop, is to have a sale per month...that doesn't seem like much, but I had at least one in November, and December...so I think keeping up that small goal will make it easier to accomplish, and not get discouraged while I work out the kinks of how I'd like to run the business...I also want to upload new designs once a week, and get on a good schedule, like create new designs on mondays, photograph wednesdays and upload fridays for example...
For the blog...I really want to come up with weekly topics, so that I can have some sort of format to follow- Friday Finds, New Shop Tuesdays, etc :p
so for 2009...it's going to be a busy year, but fingers crossed, a successful one as well!

Etsy Bloggers Featured Member for January :)
There are so many talented jewelry designers on Etsy...sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about the company my little store keeps in our wonderful online shopping world :)
this month, our featured Etsy Blogger is Rose Works Jewelry!
I love her woven bracelets, and the bright, beautiful colors used in her designs. So head on over to her shop, or her blog and explore the wonder that is Rose Works Jewelry :)
