Where am I??

I have been so MIA between Thanksgiving and Christmas! much to post, so hopefully while I'm home today relaxing, I'll get some updates on here :)

Typography Final Project

Another one bites the dust...another class that is...wednesday marked the end of my class in Typography and I am one class closer to my degree!

Our final project was to display some sort of history of an alphabet, or a typographer, and I chose to do the history of the Greek Alphabet.

It has been one whole year since I started up my blog! So much has happened in the past year, and I've had so much fun documenting it online to share with all my friends both on and off-line :) I have been neglecting it a little lately, but hope to have many more posts to come in year #2!

Mike & Carrie's DC Wedding

This past weekend my cousin Mike got married to his lovely bride Carrie :) The wedding was beautiful- at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue...so excited to have another girl on our side of the family!

Baltimore Half-Marathon Heroes :)

My friend Ashley and her Mom ran in the half-marathon (that's 13.1 miles!!) this past Saturday, and I am so proud of her accomplishments! She really is quite a hero to me for accomplishing her goal! Here's a picture of half of her lovely support team Jess is holding our sign, complete with glitter and starbucks of course ;)

about 2 weeks ago...this little kitty found her way to our neighbor's back stoop...and now we've basically domesticated her...and hopefully will find her a home soon...e-mail me for more info...she is just the sweetest little kitty ever...and we've been calling her Buttons :)

So it's almost August...but I am already psyched for the fall/winter holiday season! Definitely my favorite time of year, I love when the temperature gets cooler, and the leaves change, and football starts!! Then it's Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and my birthday!!

almost done with the first week of my new class...life drawing...and it is going to be very time intensive...more so than any other class I've taken yet, but I think it will be a good challenge to learn how to more realistically draw people...although one of our assignments this week was to draw stick figures!
