yup, I got caught up in the baseball fever that is Orioles Magic...there is even a song...we spent Friday night watching the game on a big screen outside in Canton...

now they play the Yankees...so I am in quite a position...and probably will have to hide out in my house till the series is over...

why baseball should have instant replay...and other weekend fun

this weekend my cousins were in town, and it was so nice to see them down on our turf...we took them out for sushi and showed them around Fells Point and Little Italy...and then we made it home in time to see this happen.

I know baseball is a long game as it is...but when the game is this important...getting the call right is essential.



anyway...they crushed today's game- guess they were as mad as I was about the call ;)

and I got to stop by the convention center to see Brian & Katie at their booth at Comic Con...





and now it's 9pm.  time for bed.


seriously, happy to be back at work...but I am tired and it's only been 2 weeks!

it's not easy being a Yankees fan in Baltimore...but I still get to see my boys in pinstripes every once and a while :)

first game of the season

a quick visit from Bob, and our first Orioles game of the season...it was mighty cold!

in between the moving madness

so I've already done the 'moving' of the moving...but cleaning, organizing and getting the old house staged is definitely the most time consuming activity of this process...thankfully I've had help from my family...and they know how to help me unwind a little too...my cousins graciously agreed to go to the Orioles-Yankees game with me on Saturday night when I could clean/pack/organize no more



oh and the Yanks won...so of course that made us all happy

walking to work

every day for the past few weeks I've walked past these pretty flowers outside of Camden Yards...so today I actually stopped and took a picture of them...I don't know what they're called, but I'd love to get some for my "backyard"...anyone know what they are?

the Yankees are in Blacksburg today, playing my Virginia Tech Hokies in a spring training baseball game...I'm so torn...who do I route for??
