recent assignments

my last post made me think of this...last week for my Digital Image Manipulation 2 class, we had to create a design using a photo and the name of the person in the photo...I chose, a certain Illustrator by the name of Schulz :)

Illustration Friday - Fierce

it has been wayyyyyyyyyyy too long since I've done a post for IF, but I'm hoping to be back on track, hopefully posting every week :)

this is my first attempt coloring my drawing in photoshop- I used the wonderful tutorial on Jonesapalooza's blog...I had been afraid to try it, but his instructions were so easy to follow, I know I'll get the hang of it with more practice :)

so here is my entry for this week...I came home the other day, to see my cats staring at what I thought was just the ground, but then I realized, they were chasing a ladybug that had found its way inside...my very tough, and FIERCE cats were a little afraid of the little bug...

learning new tricks

you can really find out how to do anything on the internet...I wanted to learn how to create a silk-like texture for my most recent assignment...I found a tutorial and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out :p

I finally am learning Photoshop!!

I have been extremely bad at posting to my blog lately...but I'll catch up soon I promise! This is one of my assignments I turned in tonight for my Digital Image Manipulation class...we had to create a 'fantasy' image...so voila...yoga on a cloud!
